Nanami Kirishima (霧島 七海 Kirishima Nanami) is Kaito Kirishima's elder sister and one of the supporting characters in Waiting in the Summer.
Appearance[]
Namami is a tall young female teenager with tan skin, long black hair with two hair beads that both lay and dangle on the front, the two hair beads are different in terms of length and size, the left side is thine and small while the right side is thick large, Nanami also has light gray eyes, wears glasses and is also always shown to wear a wrist watch on her left wrist.
For outfits, Nanami has two to three different kinds of clothing she wears. The first outfit Nanami wears in the begging of episode 1 and episode 11 consents of a light purple colored T-shirt with the letter "M" in the left area of the front of her chest and long white colored leggy pants with a red line on the outside were the sleeves of her pants close in on her ankles, it appears that Namani doesn't wear any kind of footwear with this outfit.
The second and most coming outfit Nanami wears as shown in the second half of episode 1 and end credits, and in episode 2 consents of a white colored T-shirt with a long gray-colored jacket that is buttoned in the front and three white colored buttons on the bottom area of the sleeves, she also wears gray-colored button-up pants and tan-colored slip-on boots but no socks.
In episode 12, Nanami also wears an outfit that looks similar to the outfit she wore in episodes 1 and 2, but is recolored dark blue.

Namami is very smart and kind teenager who is very protective of her brother.

Etymology[]
- The name Nanami means "seven" (七) (nana) and "sea" (海) (mi).
- Nanami's surname Kirishima means "fog" (霧) (kiri) and "island" (島) (shima).
Trivia[]
- Keeping in similar theme between Please Teacher! and this series, Nanami share many similarities with the following characters from the aforementioned anime.
- Kozue Kusanagi: Both are the protagonist's eldest siblings (Kozue: Kei, Nanami: Kaito), and their last names starts with the letter "K".
- Hatsuho Kazami: They have long flowing hair and wear long-type outfits that
